  The music played is terrible! In fact, the music is better at the adjacent kebab shop. Perth needs a men only club and/or gender only nights. There were also far too many straight patrons. In fact, not sure if you could even refer to this place as a gay venue? Once you have been to a gay club in Sydney (Stonewall Hotel), Melbourne (The Peel Hotel - gale male venue

  Whilst I do (thank you) appreciate the response from the Connections Team (see below), unfortunately this was not my first unfavourable/disappointing experience in the venue. My hope is the team reflect on the points I have detailed and implement some necessary changes. My advice to gay males choosing to visit Connections is to brace yourself for more of a gay friendly venue with plenty of straight patrons, particularly female. One can (hopefully) still hope for a quality gay venue in Perth.

  The club itself is set up well and the drinks are good. The crowd was extremely bad though, the girls I was with got groped five times in the first few minutes we were in the crowd dancing. Mostly straight middle aged men to watch the fairly exploitative mud wrestling, I know it might be empowering in theory but it hardly looked that way.

  The venue itself looks great but it does not deserve a cover charge (entry fee) and its expensive at the bar. Schooner for a pint price and served in a plastic glass aswell.

  Been to club for 30+ years. It's going down. Go to the club if you wan to humiliate or look lime alien by so call straight. Never complain b4 until now

  Seriously good looking bar, music is on point, vibe is great but the expensive entry and bar ruins it.
